Discussion


Summer 2009 cleaning included: carpets, mattresses, and tile in main bathroom. Sleeping porch exterior door frame needs repair. Plumbing service to snake the drains on an every 6 month basis. Exterior locks were replaced. New liners for showers were purchased for senior add’n, 3 upstairs baths, and guest bathroom.

Insurance for boiler

It is stated in the online summary of our coverage that indeed the boiler is covered by our policy. Do we have a copy of the entire policy or does MJ Insurance keep it for us and we just contact them if need be?

Furniture for dining room


Discussion

We plan to replace existing dining room furniture w/tables, chairs, benches. Estimate is for $7000-8000. Parents’ Club may be able to contribute to purchase. May consider selling old stuff on Craig’s List.

Girls are currently using disposable recycled flatware. This is expensive and wasteful.

Trees in front of house and shrubs outside dining room are terribly overgrown.

Discussion

Drawers under daybeds continually “break” and need to be repaired. What is the nature of the problem? Should drawers be repaired, replaced w/like, or replaced w/baskets or other?

Determine what ongoing problem/defect is w/current drawers, so decision can be made on resolution.

refinance mortgage

Discussion

Financing rates are really good right now & perhaps we should be refinancing existing mortgage.
Because we have a balloon payment coming in the next few years we should be refinancing for a flat rate &checking 15 or 30 year loans

Mattresses are getting soiled and can be difficult to impossible to completely clean.

Girls will be asked to provide their own mattress covers—waterproof, zip closure, fully encompassing type.

Current window coverings in girls’ rooms are in disrepair. Often wind coming in thru open windows results in damage. Replace w/like or other?
